I like the word tenacious.  The way it rolls off your tongue.  It really is the perfect word for holding too something - a belief, an ideal, a person.  To me, it means if you are tenacious enough to believe in something so strongly, you'll take that next step and do something with it - you'll be the change we need in the world.  Sticking to what you believe, what's in your heart is hard, and we need a tough word to give the courage to keep going.  Be tenacious today.

We like Zootopia at my house.  I pretty much fell in love at first viewing.  I adore the message, I adore the characters. We are very excited to learn that pre-parade at the Boo To You Halloween Parade at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is the Zootopia Party Patrol with Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps interacting with the kids and passing out candy.  Every time I think about what we are getting to do on our next trip and new things I learn about the Halloween and Christmas party I get so excited, thankful, grateful and blessed.  Why? Because the next trip isn't the original we set out to do.  However, life happened and we didn't even think of it as lemons but just automatically made lemonade and made this the Disney trip of a lifetime.  For real, we're doing like 5 things on our #DisneyBucketList so what else is there to do but think that really this is how it's supposed to be.  So really that means Try Everything.  Which is the theme song from Zootopia.  No giving up (no matter how bad I want to, and believe me in that past month I have wanted to), keep pushing, keep trying.  I love this song so much I made 3 printables out of it.  Download your favorite, download all or just get a pick me up.

It's really hard to be optimistic all the time.  I've come to realize no matter how much I say I don't want to be catty or negative, it always comes out anyway.  So I've given myself time to be in my feelings to be about things but when I come out the other side of them I make sure moving forward I have an optimistic outlook.  Glass half full is always better than a glass half empty.

Not only is it exercise, it's really the best kind I've ever done. We've all heard the phrase, "Laughter is the best medicine."  There are actual benefits to laughing that not only helps boost a body's immune system but there's nothing than sharing a good, hard, deep, belly laugh with someone that makes you feel happy and gets you on the right path for the day. I feel like I've gone through these before but I can't for the life of me seem to find where so I'll summarize.  Laughing relaxes your body which relieves stress and tension, decreases stress hormones and increases immune cells and anti-bodies, releases Endorphins which relieves pain and protects your heart by increasing blood flow. So whatever has got you down, making you feel bad - start with a laugh.  The rest will follow.

It's no secret that we are flawed beings.  It's a fact that when troubles rain, they pour down on you.  So what do you do in a situation like that?  How do you handle it?  It's precisely when troubles abound that your true character shows, the amount of grace you show certainly magnifies your personality.  That's why it's so important to have grace, it's a place where God is.  Stamping feet, throwing fits, getting mean, never solve anything, so get your grace and your troubles won't be gone, but smaller and manageable they shall become.
